four years later

It’s been four years since my last blog post. I wish I could say I had a good reason for the radio silence, but the truth is, life got busy. A lot has happened, though, so here’s a quick rundown of the highlights:

Producing at STN Digital

First off, I landed a role as a producer at STN Digital, a social-first marketing agency that plays in the big leagues of sports and entertainment. It’s been a wild ride managing campaigns, dreaming up ideas, and working with some of the most talented people in the game.

Photographing the Stars

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. One standout experience was capturing the CMA Awards rehearsals in 2022 and 2023, which produced some of my favorite photos in my portfolio. There’s something special about it because I love photographing live events—the energy, the movement, and the moments in between. Plus, there’s been fire in like five of those performances and that always makes for good photos.

Watching a Stadium Rise

I literally witnessed a stadium being built from the ground up. Like, dirt to touchdowns. As someone who loves the stories behind the scenes, watching (and photographing) this process unfold was unforgettable.

Published in Forbes

Seeing my photography published in Forbes wasn’t something I expected. After two years of documenting Snapdragon Stadium, my photos of the completed project were featured alongside an interview about the stadium’s grand opening.

Adding Writing Credits

Over the past few years, I’ve written for some incredible projects, including a docuseries, two wrestling award shows, and even a hotline script read by none other than Natasha Lyonne. Writing something that ended up in her voice? Absolutely a career highlight.

Custom Props

I had the unique opportunity to paint props used by the Green Bay Packers and for Netflix. Seeing my art in such a legendary setting? Priceless.

The Friends Couch

Oh, and did I mention I got to sit on the iconic orange couch from Friends? Because I did, it was for work, and it was everything I dreamed it would be. Could I be any more excited?

Paintings big and small

On the painting front, I’ve added some stunning new pieces to my portfolio that include hockey players and office murals.

A Little TikTok Fun

Somewhere in the mix, I’ve even made a few TikToks…for TikTok! Because why not add “helping create content for one of the biggest platforms” to the list?

That’s the gist of the past four years. It’s been busy, and I’ll leave it at that. Hopefully, it won’t take me another four years to update this blog.
